Hi Guys,
With the release of the official launcher – we have the option of having certain parts of the client optional.
This means with each update, players can elect, rather than have mods or client configuration forced upon them.
A great example of mods we can set as optional are VoxelMap and Optifine.
Can you please let me know any others that would benefit from similar treatment?

BysokarI think it would be a good idea to have the following as optional:
– Options.txt to not be overwrote on every update (only updates that directly affect it)
– HWYLA (https://www.curseforge.com/minecraft/mc-mods/hwyla) – Shows you what block you are looking at and what mod it is from. (https://www.curseforge.com/minecraft/mc-mods/hwyla/files/all?filter-game-version=2020709689%3A6756)
– Inventory Tweaks for quality of life improvements to the UI handling. (https://www.curseforge.com/minecraft/mc-mods/inventory-tweaks/files/all?filter-game-version=2020709689%3A6756)
– Optifine (http://adfoc.us/serve/sitelinks/?id=475250&url=http://optifine.net/adloadx?f=OptiFine_1.12_HD_U_F5.jar&x=14b9) because Optifine is great at reducing lag in computers.
