We unfortunately are at the point where we need to look at mods like Tick Dynamic to optimise the player experience during interactions with NPCs and other role play elements, aswell as transportation via gate or ship.
Tick Dynamic has been reinstated, with space being limited to 300% of the tick time being allocated to an individual world.
The end result of this will be that players will not lag the whole server when they do something intense, only the dimension that they are on.
If you experience issues please report them as soon as possible, so we can further optimise TickDynamic.
New Features:
- Tick Dynamic has been re-instated.
Tweaks/Changes:
- CustomNPCs, Advanced Rocketry and SGCraft machines will be excluded from TickDynamic’s optomisation process, allowing them to do what they need to do at all times.
- Mekanism now processes its networks on a per-dimension basis. This means that networks that used to cross dimensions will no longer funnction correctly.
