v3.7.0 – July 26th, 2020

New Features:

  • Players may now form their own clans, allowing them to share chunk-loaded areas and use the private (clan) or semi private (allies) chat channels!

Tweaks/Changes:

  • All mods, other than SGCraft, AUNIS and AdvancedRocketry can no longer chunkload.
  • All Chat Messages sent by a player will now have a clan identifier that is color coded based on your relation to them, or shows the clan colors if you’re in that faction or neutral with them.
  • Ring Transporters now use 10% of the energy.

Bugfixes:

  • DHDs did not correctly register themselves on an OC network when connected some of the time.
  • Fixed an NPE in the Correlative update program when the destination did not have a DHD

v3.6.0 – 25th July, 2020

New Features:

  • DHDs can now be controlled and interrogated by computer!
  • The correlative Update program for DHDs has been added!

Tweaks/Changes:

  • Players within 32 blocks of a DHD performing a correlative update will now be informed that is why the stargate is dialing out.
  • Space will temporarily remain loaded all the time until we can identify what is causing TPS spikes when it is unloaded.

Bugfixes:

  • Naquadah Generators operating at up to Tier 5 think they are running at designed capacity, even if their fuel was Tier 1.
  • Temperature does not display the lang-ified name within the Naquadah Generator Gui.
  • OMT spams the logs with an exception if it tried to save a turret and the owner was offline.
  • New players are disconnected upon login if they are not yet discord linked, killing access to the server for new players.

New Features:

  • Naquadah Generators can now be controlled via computer!
  • Naquadah Generators can now be deliberately put into an overload state, exchanging reactor stability for power throughput or if you’re very lucky, explosiveness!

  • The Server Discord bot no longer updates the nickname of all players who are linked every time a player logs in. It instead only updates the player’s nickname who is logging in.
  • Naquadah Generators now show their power output capability even when turned off.

  • Naquadah Generators accept power input from seemingly random sides.
  • The IC2 Tier of the Naquadah Generator does not change when higher tier fuel is added after lower tier is installed and removed.

v3.4.0 – 22nd July, 2020

New Features:

  • Naquadah Generators have been added to the game!

Players can elect to use a Naquadah Generator as a low to mid tier power source.

They output energy based on the level of refinement (IC2 Tier 1 to 5) of naquadah that is placed inside them.

To turn a naquadah generator on or off, simply sneak+right click on it.

Note: The ability to manipulate, overload/overclock generators will be added soon!

Tweaks/Changes:

  • ZPM Consoles now operate as a Tier 10 IC2 power source.
  • “Standard” Superconductive cables from Gregtech now transfer energy up to IC2 Tier 10.
  • “Fat” Superconductive cables now operate up to IC2 Tier 13.
  • The AESU from GT Classic can now step power down from IC2 Tier 10 to Tier 6.
  • “Skinny” Superconductive cables now operate up to IC2 Tier 6.
  • The ZPM Hub has been upgraded, it now operates between IC2 Tiers 11 and 13, depending on how many ZPMs are installed.
  • ZPM energy is now worth 10 times the SG power.

Bugfixes:

  • ZPMs withdraw and go into ‘negative’ power before depletion.

v3.3.0 – July 20th, 2020

New Features:

  • ZPM Consoles are now a Tier 9 IC2 Power Source, providing players with a bridge between the IC2 Interface cart (Tier 6) and Atlantis Style ZPM Hub (Tier 10-12)
  • A Custom build of Tick Dynamic has been added to keep TPS at 20 as much as possible. Players should report issues with machines but otherwise try and keep their bases as economical as possible (especially on the space dimension).
  • Worlds now properly unload after 90 seconds of being inactive, excluding the space and overworld dimensions.
  • The coremod now respects chunk loader tickets properly.
  • The number of chunk load tickets a mod can register without assigning them to a player has been increased to 500, from 200.

Tweaks/Changes:

  • ZPM Consoles now operate as a Tier 9 IC2 power source.
  • Transport rings now require 10 million EU per activation and operate as a Tier 6 IC2 Energy consumer with a 10 million EU buffer.

Bugfixes:

  • Ring platforms do not properly disassociate with their controller when the block is broken.
  • ZPM Consoles cause FPS lag when placed.
  • Various recipes do not work after the IC2 Classic migration.

New Features:

  • Worlds will now unload 90 seconds after the last player leaves them.
  • IC2 has been replaced with IC2 Classic to remedy issues with the mod that were causing a buildup of lag the longer the server was online for.
  • GT-Classic has been added, providing players with higher tier IC2 energy
  • Advanced Solar Panels mod has been replaced with Advanced Solars Classic Edition.

Tweaks/Changes:

  • ZPM Hubs now operate between IC2 Tiers 10 and 12 (2.7 billion EU per second peak output per side).
  • ZPM Carts now operate on IC2 Tier 6 (32768 EU per tick per side)

Bugfixes:

  • Ring platforms do not drop their item when the block is broken.
  • Chat is duplicated between test and live when someone speaks in universe.
  • Ring platforms can register themselves with the Transporter Ring network with 0 as their dimension ID.
  • Occasionally when a player interacted with a block the protection listener would fail to fire, making a protected area vulnerable to interacts.
  • CustomNPCs did not properly sync dialogs with a player during login.

New Features:

Rings now transport players across dimensions!

Ring platforms will now:

  • Automatically sync with the nearest 5 ring platforms operating on the same frequency. They can be on a planet, in orbit or on or in orbit of one of the worlds moons.
Two new OpenComputers methods have been added to Rings:
  • getFrequency(): This returns the frequency of a ring platform.
  • setFrequency(int) : This will attempt to set the frequency of a ring platform.

Known Issues:

  • There are some computer methods that need to be modified or removed and may cause issues if you decided to use them.
  • Players should NOT set an address for rings anymore under any circumstances, but may rename them if they are actively linked to a network.

v2.6.4 – 15th July, 2020

New Features:

Chat Channels have been added!

Players may now choose to speak in one of the following chat channels:

  • Universe: Linked with Discord & broadcasts to the whole server.
  • Galaxy: Will chat with players in your local galaxy.
  • System: Will chat with players in your local star system.
  • Planetary: Will chat with players on or in orbit of your world.
  • Local: Will chat with players within 250 blocks of you.
  • Staff: For staff only.
  • Support: For anyone to ask for and receive help!
  • Contributor: General contributor chat. Lets you guys have some privacy.
Several new commands have been added to support chat channels:
  • /sg speakin <channelname> to change which channel you want to speak in.
  • /sg listchannels to show what channels are available
  • /sg speakingin to list what channel you are currently speaking in.

Tweaks/Changes:

  • The holographic planet selector will no longer render stars/planets outside your local galaxy, as  this was spawning 2,500+ entities into the world each time someone used it.
  • Space and Earth dimensions will no longer show up in the planet selector.
